IKOI Magazine es una revista bilingüe (germano-japonés) que se publica mensualmente en Tokio. En el número de octubre (nº. 176) publican una entrevista que me han hecho este verano, firmada por Sabine Peiseler, junto con algunas de mis ilustraciones.

IKOI is a bilingual magazine (German-Japanese), published monthly in Tokyo. In the October issue (n. 176) appears an interview I have done this summer, signed by Sabine Peiseler, along with a few illustrations.

I've finally been able to finalize www.juanhernaz.com.

The idea was to create a nimble page, useful for everybody and with selected contents. New illustrations have been added to every section-header. This blog is also integrated as a part of the main website (which is also accessible through a new direct link in the right column).

VI Festival TítereSí / 6th. Festival of the Puppet and the Word

Esta tarde he disfrutado del sumo placer de conversar.

He sido invitado a participar en la mesa redonda inaugural del VI Festival del Títere y la Palabra "TítereSí" (organizado en Pola de Siero -20, 21 y 22 de mayo- por Kamante Teatro y la Fundación Municipal de Cultura de Pola de Siero), con la "Creación vs. Mercado" como punto de partida e hilo argumental. Una distendida puesta en común de cómo interactúan estos dos parámetros en nuestro desarrollo profesional como creadores, contando con los enriquecedores puntos de vista de Carmen Comadrán (Tierravoz Comunicación y presidenta de AEPA), Carmen Montes (Taller Cerámico El Migayu), Estrella (ZigZag Danza), Luis (Kamante Teatro), Joaquín (Tragaluz Títeres) y Rosa Garnacho (Quiquilimón).

Resulta especialmente enriquecedor e interesante darte cuenta que compartes con todos ellos puntos de vista y motivaciones comunes en muchos aspectos, a pesar del hecho de hallarte entre grandes profesionales que provienen de campos creativos distintos, con condicionantes externos diferenciadores y diferentes estructuras empresariales y de mercado.

Gracias a todos ellos por su invitación y compañía. Un auténtico placer haberles conocido.


This afternoon I enjoyed the great pleasure of talking.

I have been invited to participate in the inaugural round table of the 6th. Festival of Puppet and the Word "TítereSí" (organized in Pola de Siero, Asturias -20, 21 and May 22- by Kamante Teatro and the Municipal Foundation of Culture), with "Creation vs. Market" as a starting point and storyline. A relaxed chat sharing how these two parameters interact in our professional development as creators, with the enlightening viewpoints of Carmen Comadrán (Tierravoz Comunicación and president of AEPA), Carmen Montes (Ceramics Workshop El Migayu), Estrella (ZigZag Danza), Luis (Kamante Teatro), Joaquin (Tragaluz Títeres) and Rosa Garnacho (Quiquilimón).

It is particularly rewarding and interesting to realize that you can share with all of them common points of view and motivations in many respects, despite the fact that these great professionals come from different creative fields, with different external conditions and differentiating business and market structures.

Thanks to all of them for their invitation and company. A really pleasure having met them.
